Book Review: 愛智繪本系列 Love Wisdom Picture Book Collection

This is a series of picture books (I have 44 of them) that teach some love and wisdom in each one. The words are simple and they have CDs with each book of audio reading and also a VIDEO!!! The video is slow and follows the pictures on the books, has great sound effects and I appreciate that it’s not flashing images. We don’t view the videos because usually the kids don’t have the patience to look through the video after they’ve read the story already and we’re a no TV or ipad sort of family but we’ve viewed a couple and I like the slowness of it on video. Stories are cute and healthy. There are single titles you can get as I’ve listed below and also backpack series which are my favorite because they don’t have the hardcover binding! The 2 large backpack series weren’t available or totally out of stock when I purchased so I ended up getting a lot of hardbacks (which stinks on shipping) but if you’re into the hardcover, buy them because they are super nice.

The first story I have in the video is about a cat who is negative about everything. He doesn’t want to go to school. Day after day his friends go to school and they are having so much fun. Naturally the cat gets a little lonely and jealous. One day he’s standing outside the classroom and the teaching invited him in only for him to confess he doesn’t want to be alone and then they all went to school and everyone is happy.

Sample of the DVD for that exact book is posted by another youtube video below. I also found a video of the company’s introduction to the series. We really love this brand of books at home. Stories are never boring and just enough words for the kiddos to read on their own.
