Age: 5+ independent

I’ve finally found an easy reader set in simplified and where the stories are not dead boring. You can read this after you know about 200+ words. Sentence structure is easy and only a few lines on a page. There are 12 books in the series and they all look somewhat similar. Stories are written by a Canadian author and is cute and healthy. It’s about a boy (girl? – I can’t tell) with his anteater pet he got from his aunt and everything they go through from his first day at school, hid and seek, their cat, etc. Sample of the book is down below. Will be the first set of books/stories I introduce to my girls when they start their simplified journey.
