This is probably a standard that everyone who comes to Taiwan go by and they’ve been around for a long time. We were going to line up at the other “famous” breakfast place only to find it closed on a Monday so we went here instead. Most Taiwan places are a hole in the wall. Don’t be alarmed. It’s a norm. I prefer Jia Zhen to this place! Although it’s the norm, it wasn’t special anymore but you can always count on it being reliably good. I’m giving it lower stars because it’s nothing to be jumping up and down for but if you want a traditional Taiwanese breakfast with salty soymilk soup, sticky rice, etc., this is a standard to go by.
