Most people when they come to Taiwan, they would schedule a photo shoot. Why? Because it’s sooooo good and soooo cheap! Want to look like a movie star or have magazine ready photos for your Christmas cards?
So we chose a shop that’s opened by a guy who came from Julia Wedding News. I wanted to originally book Julia but took a look around and felt that family studio photos are pretty standard! I wanted somewhere that had a more natural feel and not too serious or stuffy or too formal. This time I went with a recommendation from a friend and I’m glad I did! The price was great and I get a ton of photos and actually all the original files from the shoot! This means it’s hundreds of photos. So they have other photographers too but I think I snatched the best dude in there and coincidentally he’s the owner.
You have an extra option of renting a different studio for your shoot. We rented a special studio with lots of backgrounds and back lighting. They have the option of many different studios for you to use for the photo shoot. Normal shoots comes with a plain background and starting at only 12k TWD if you want a quick snap, two outfit changes and be done right at their studio with the normal one color background. Don’t get me wrong, those are AWESOME as well since their photographer is pretty top notch but we wanted more backgrounds and scene changes because we had kids and thought it’s more natural for them to play around in the studio that had 3 stories of different spaces for photoshoots.
Makeup and hair is done by their professional stylist. Tux was rented from them included in the package! Formal dresses are rented from their studio…. you can bring an outfit yourself for your second look. You have to bring your own kids clothes which I didn’t mind. I am REALLY NOT INTO THE COSTUMES that other studios have or their kids dresses. I find them… a little over the top.
