Taiwan is not Taiwan if you don’t go to a quick stir fry place. This is what they call 熱炒店. This particular one is a cross between a street style 熱炒 and restaurant style. The taste is pretty spectacular. Most dishes are small and costs between 100-150 TWD ($3-$5 USD). Our favorite dish everywhere we go at one of these places is the fried clams (蛤蜊）. They are the tiny little clams that you can only get here! Tastes amazing with beer and other alcohol. This place does it so well we ordered three plates as each of my kids had an entire plate themselves!
Most places don’t take reservations but this place does. It’s popular due to the amazing taste so I do suggest you make a reservation. Another thing to note: all you can eat rice! If you’re into rice, well, all you can eat rice. It’s well cooked and my kids ate two small bowls each.
