Motherly Notes Methods – Nurture Love Educate

So I always contemplate whether I want to go to another location of Din Tai Fung but always end up going to the original one. There’s always a long wait but the trick is to get there early. We went before 11am and waited only 15 minutes. YAY!

And… wait… is that…. TRUFFLE bao??? YES!!! pieces of truffle!!! YUM. Unfortunately, my little one ate 3 of the five there and my older one ate one and I only ate one and decided didn’t want to wait for another. The lighting in there was super yellow so my pictures are a bit weird but you’ll get the idea. I took OUT THE TRUFFLES so you can see how pretty it is inside… ah…. yum.

Other stuff that’s good there: their 粽子. Get it. Their 湯圓. Inhale it. Others are just okay. Get all their bao. Crab, pork, whatever, even the shrimp 燒賣 was literally just a shrimp on top of a regular bao. Full of soup and goodness.

The extra on top: there’s a 金石堂 bookstore next door you can go and work off what you ate after. OR you can gain more fat by walking one block out and north to 思慕昔 Smoothie House Ice and get mango ice… LOL.
