This set of books was translated from the Taiwan Set 樂讀456. It was created for the transitioning middle elementary and for the upper elementary children. In the traditional Chinese set, some have zhuyin and some don’t. In the simplified set, there’s absolutely zero pinyin. It’s for your older children who really have 2500+ characters under their belt. Stories are well written in this set and the illustrations attractive. Considering zero pinyin, the font is nicely spaced and not too small. I highly recommend this if you are in this level for Chinese!
